Emergency response simulation

The execution of large-scale emergency response simulations is critical to test and evaluate the response of the airport and other stakeholders’ emergency teams in case of incidents and accidents. With these exercises, we can ensure emergency teams play their role in a controlled environment. Individual skills, overall team performance, and process roll-out are monitored with several objectives:

• To familiarise the emergency teams with their roles, responsibilities, and the process
• To assess the readiness of the emergency teams to respond to incidents and accidents
• To identify changes and improvements in the emergency response system, in order to ensure the best possible response in case of an incident or an accident
