With teams that are used to work in a data-driven organisation, the need grows tooffer them strong visual and user-friendly simulation environments to betterunderstand potential impact and best mitigation measures for potentialdisturbances.

Our AOP solution suite was thus expanded with a simulation tool to assess the real-world throughput of different airport processing units and how they interact. This simulation tool allows for the testing of various scenarios and parameters in a controlled and repeatable environment to better understand future demand-capacity (im)balances in a realistic manner.

By running a large number of simulations, we provide insights in how an operational environment will perform in reality under different scenarios. The output is presented in a very visual way ranging from graphs to actual airport lay-outs through which one can actually observe for instance passenger queue evolutions.
